The exhibition Gdynia x 10 presents ten decades of a city that became a symbol of a modern, open Poland. From its origins as an ambitious port of the Second Republic to its image as a “Polish El Dorado,” Gdynia reflects changing social and political realities while maintaining its pioneering spirit.
Created for the centenary of the city and supported by the Senate of the Republic of Poland, the show draws on collections from the Museum of the City of Gdynia and the Naval Museum in Gdynia.
As a mobile exhibition, it is both a major distinction and a challenge -especially highlighted by its presentation at the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. Now, as it travels to other cities, it continues to share Gdynia’s story -10 decades, 10 narratives, 100 years
