Kamienica Wiedeńska  K 13 – common areas

The Viennese tenement house combines the atmosphere of Art Nouveau interiors with a modern modernist note. We also left a pinch of Gdynia modernism there. In this project, we were inspired by existing Art Nouveau tenement houses. The common parts in this investment are maintained in light, subdued colors. However, we decided to differentiate both staircases and entrance areas and give them a unique character. What connects both places is the use of noble natural materials, bright spacious interiors, attention to detail. Here, we combined Art Nouveau elements referring to the genesis of the tenement house with modern furniture and lighting. We did not want the interiors to „pretend” to be Art Nouveau spaces, which is why we combine tradition with modernity and art. In the project, we took care of every detail, designing not only the interiors but also wayfinding elements and furniture.
