Viennese Tenement House K 13 – common spacies
Viennese Tenement House: A Fusion of Art Nouveau and Modernist Elegance
The Viennese tenement house seamlessly blends the charm of Art Nouveau interiors with a modernist touch, enhanced by a hint of Gdynia modernism. Inspired by existing Art Nouveau tenement houses, this project maintains light, subdued colors in the common areas while giving each staircase and entrance area a unique character.
Design Elements and Aesthetic Choices
What unifies these spaces is the use of noble natural materials, bright and spacious interiors, and meticulous attention to detail. We combined Art Nouveau elements that honor the tenement house’s origins with contemporary furniture and lighting. Our aim was not to create interiors that merely „pretend” to be Art Nouveau but to harmoniously merge tradition with modernity and art.
Attention to Every Detail
Throughout the project, we paid close attention to every aspect of the design, including interiors, wayfinding elements, and furniture, ensuring a cohesive and elegant environment.
